Case
Saving LINE photos and files before they expire
Photos and PDFs that business partners and others send over LINE are saved automatically to a team folder within one to two minutes of arriving. It cuts the time spent looking for files and keeps them from becoming unopenable once LINE’s storage period passes.
- Time to save
- One to two minutes after arrival (checked every minute)
- Saved to
- Team folder
- Notice
- Automatically, in the team chat
- Running since
- September 2026
Before
Photos and documents sent over LINE stayed inside the chat. Each time we needed one, we scrolled back through the conversation, and some never made it into a folder.
On top of that, photos and files received on LINE are kept only for a limited period; once it passes, they can no longer be opened. A file left in the chat too long could become impossible to retrieve.
Now
Photos and PDFs alike are saved to the team folder automatically within one to two minutes. A notice also goes to the team chat.
Once in the folder, files no longer depend on LINE’s storage period.
How
We connected a small program to the LINE Official Account used for this work; it picks up photos and files as they arrive. AI wrote the program, and we have confirmed with actual incoming messages that photos and PDFs reach the folder. We did not buy any new software.
